International exchange students
Exchange students join the Faculty of Arts and Humanities within the framework of an exchange programme.
If you are taking part in the Erasmus+ programme to come and study at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, you have to meet several criteria:
- Be enrolled in a partner university of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Sorbonne University (contact the Erasmus+ coordinator at your home university).
- Be recognised as eligible for this exchange by your university, and then be nominated by your coordinators and recommended to our Erasmus+ board.
- Have a CEFR B2 level in French. Most courses and examinations are in French, including foreign language courses.
For information on the courses you can enrol in, please consult your Erasmus+ coordinator, with whom you will have to prepare your learning agreement. Your choice of courses has to be approved by your Erasmus+ coordinator.
Once you have been nominated by your university, the Erasmus board for incoming students will send you an acceptance e-mail inviting you to put together your application file for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Sorbonne University.
You can contact the Erasmus board for incoming students by email at lettres-erasmus-inri@sorbonne-universite.fr.
Your administrative registration will be completed directly by the International Relations office using your application file. The course registration, during which you will choose your courses and constitute your timetable, should be carried out in coordination with the educational coordinator of the department in which you are enrolled at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Find more information on the application procedure on the page dedicated to the Erasmus programme (French website).
